Major League Baseball said the record for most starters from one team is held by the 1939 New York Yankees with six: catcher Bill Dickey, center fielder Joe DiMaggio, second baseman Joe Gordon, third baseman Red Rolfe, pitcher Red Ruffing and left fielder George Selkirk.

He'll be locked up soon enough. They'll have to wait for 2030 to sign him.

We had a girl at The Diner in State College who used to wait table while tripping, but I would think that's child's play compared to pitching in front of thousands of people. Dude had some serious fortitude to try and succeed at such a thing, let alone pitch the no-no.

Padres have fired Manager Bud Black ("relieved him of his duties"). Looking for an Interim Manager. Bench coach Dave Roberts will run the team until they find somebody.

The Mets are going to DFA Dillon Gee today. Would be like our third best starter.
