Rumor is they are trying to trade Dee Gordon.
Joel Sherman: Dodgers have let teams know open to moving Dee Gordon. New front office likes OBP, not Gordon’s forte
GM Farhan Zaidi: We're not trading Dee Gordon

yes, and I felt this way two years ago, too. It's time.
Y'all say that now but when they have 50+ losses at the ASB y'all be bitchin' and moanin'.

IDK I think a lot of us here like watching what the Sixers are doing. It shouldn't be exactly like the Sixers because the Phillies are rich and all but I think everyone is ready for a rebuild.

Don't forget DeShields Jr
Just gonna run teams off

I'd rather watch a young team get 50+ losses by the ASB than an old team.

Maybe the way to go is to just let the Red Sox keep Betts, Boegarts and Swihart and Owens. Do something like a 2 for 5 trade Bastardo/Hamels for Cecchini, Coyle, Margot, Brentz, Ball trade. I don't know. Just spitballing. Maybe quantity beats quality when its Rube you got trying to pick the quality.

Unfortunately, Rube is in a position where its more important to "win" the trade (ie: get a name everyone knows) than it is to actually make the team better.

Amaro: "We're excited to have a player as productive as Dee Gordon. With Ben Revere and Dee Gordon at the top of the lineup, we have an incredible amount of speed that will really get into the pitcher's head in those rare instances when one or both of them have managed to hit a 14 hop ground ball through the middle."
