If they'd waited a few years and done it when he gets into the HOF as an Indian it probably would have been better received by the fan base

He hit 337 homeruns there

A thousand away from being considered elite.

Stupid question: Is Grady Sizemore a complete free agent at the end of the year? Or is he subject to arbitration?

Should be a free agent, he has over 8 years of service time

Thanks. Oh well. Doubt this is the ship he wants to hitch his ride to, now that he is proving he can play a little.

Comments are absurd. Thought that dude was a legend there. Glad we liked him. Ungrateful piece of shit city.

i mean, i've found 95% of the people i've met from ohio to be total mouth breathers; but maybe we shouldn't base our perception of an entire city and it's inhabitants on the quality of the comments posted on 'cleveland.com'?

Sizemore has been good and he didn't even get hurt after being steamrolled by Byrd. Might trade him in August for a fair prospect. Playoff contenders should be able to use him.

I'd like to see Sizemore in CF for us next season at this rate. I know we have just as good of a chance as anyone else to have that this off-season but keeping him probably increases our opportunity.

I think there's a good chance he's back but we won't be happy about the contract Amaro gives him.

Would be awesome if Revere finishes this season at around .327 BA. Then maybe we can trade him for Trevor May as the Twins apparently hate him.

Also it would be awesome cool if the Phils would use Giles as an Ace reliefer instead of as a closer. Will never happen but the Phils blazing a trail would be kewl.

The problem is Sizemore has lost his speed and is now a defensive liability anywhere except LF.

He'll be unhappy getting 10% above market with 2 extra option years?

Two years, 18 million with a player option for a third year. Full no trade.

He then hurts his shoulder and is on the DL for two years but still triggers the third year option for another nine million. I can see that.

Eskin says the entire roster was put on waivers. Is that allowed?
