The only one I'm iffy on is Aaron Brown, but it's partly b/c I don't know what they see him as. And it's hard to argue with a guy that the pundits are calling one of the best two-way players in the draft.

Have they said how they plan to use him yet?

In a slim system, willing to bet #phillies have drafted at least 3 top 10 prospects for their system. Nice draft so far.

Obviously, need pro ball experience first but like what #phillies have done so far.

Me too. Like the college junior approach. Seems like 2,3 and 4 all have projection left too.

Yeah, I think this was a draft to inject certainty into the system, and they're doing that. Now is not the time for lottery tickets, at least not on the first two days.
Leibrandt has been hit by the injury bug in the last year. He suffered a broken right ankle during fall ball and then missed the final two months of the spring season due to a severe bone bruise on his left shin. When healthy, Leibrandt throws his fastball in the upper-80s and has the ability to add or subtract velocity as needed. His changeup can be a plus pitch and he isn’t afraid to throw it in any count. His curveball can get slurvy, but still gives him a solid third pitch. Leibrandt has a good feel for pitching, a trait he inherited from his father, former Major Leaguer Charlie Leibrandt. He profiles as a back of the rotation starter.
