vinny on the 4th line didn't work out? shocker. babcock tried to do the same with legwand a few weeks after acquiring him by having him center a 4th line checking line that mostly didnt work out great. after the wings got back all their centers from injury, there was no room for him. vinny has to work best as the second line center, where b.schenn is slotted, with a shooter on his wing. I think matt read would look well with him.

He was a totally different player before he got injured. Not unreasonable to think he wasn't fully healed.
