Multiple people on Twitter saying that. Not even a week after Snider said Homer would be the GM next season

@DNFlyers: Hextall on analytics: "That's where we're going. It's going to be a huge part of what we do going forward."

Holmgren: "I think Ron has a Flyers tattoo on his ass." Snider: "What did he just say?"

Snider says Holmgren started conversation in January to move Hextall to general manager.

Holmgren: "All hockey decisions fall on Ron. No question. Just to dispel any doubt."

Hextall: "Tell me one young player who was hurt with time in the AHL. I can tell you hundreds and hundreds that were hurt too soon in NHL."

All things considered Holmgren did a pretty damn good job in his tenure. Clarke and Hitchcock had run the franchise into the ground when he took over and he would have won a Cup had Emery not gotten hurt in 2010. Overall a pretty solid tenure and he leaves the team in much better shape than when he took over.

interested in how hextall incorporates analytics into his scouting and decision making. i'm torn on what i've seen from that department. i think hockey is the ultimate i watch the games sport. also dont buy that hexxy is calling the shots without homers guidance and sniders approval. its gonna be mostly the same

@BroadStBull: Hextall today made it sound as if #Flyers made an offer to Kimmo; waiting for his response.
