Doubleday's Random Matter

Remember a few years back ('05 or so maybe) the phills stopped celebrating at all on the field after wins. No handshake line, nothing like that, just walk off the field. That was boring as hell. I like a little emotion on the field, helps me as a fan have fun and with walkoff wins, it always always at home in front of the teams own fans, it's exciting and cool whenever it happens. Then again, I love a good bat flip or pitcher fist pumping after striking a guy out in the 6th inning. Now if they start champaign celebrating after every walkoff that'd be too much.

by bo's standards, that's only about a 3 on the awesome scale though (talking about the bo play)

This is fun. Here is a greatest hits collection of Ichiro's throws. Love the Japanese commentator on the second one. Such a dramatic cadence. Hoping Phillies start broadcasting in Japanese.

i don't think the throw was the main attraction of the bo video.
Fine. You wanna act like you're two? I'll act like I'm one.

No, it wasn't, but it led me to the Vlad video.

Hell, it looked like Wohlers was about to tip his cap to Vlad, but those jackasses just couldn't admit they were wrong.

Expos sure got lucky that this kid who was slugging .650 in the minors hit a HR
