You would think but he has been whining about how awful Pierre is all year. I guess he wants the Phillies to pick up cheap players in theory but when they actually play for the Phillies then he complains that they are crappy players. It's a built in system for constantly complaining about whomever they bring in as a FA.

Ah, gotcha, so if we get good value we're lucky and the stats are wrong anyway and if they flop, he can hit us over the head with it over and over again.

I find this only adds to my annoyance. Who cares if you put on some performance or whatever if they make the playoffs? Baumann is already wrong for dismissing the possibility of the Phillies competing for the wild card. His own writings are far more humiliating than any jokey public musical performance would ever be. Mocking Phillies fans for optimism in the face of extreme odds is pathetic whether they make the playoffs or not.

There are several things you're missing, chief of which are we're not going to do it to alleviate your annoyance because we don't give 2 fucks about your weird baseball writer autism, and also we thought it would be fun.

Why would we want to post something you are doing to have fun in this thread? You brought it up. It desn't sound like something that would humiliate you. Why did you bring it up? What does it have to do with making the playoffs? I saw you and others talk about doing that on twitter and I didn't mention it here because no one but the crashburnalley fan club gives a shit.
