Asche to Mouth and other random phillies things

Great work, asked legit tough questions which he answered like a pro (i.e. didn't reveal much). Has anyone done a survey of how many staffers each teams have in similar roles? I checked a few front office lists and looks like most have multiple "analytics" people full time. Tampa has a ton, Nats look like just one guy. But it's hard to say with all the vague titles.

Love that picture. Kevin Cooney is clearly trying to hold in like a 4 minute fart because of the chick there.

It looks like he's saying they'll add one more person, an intern, to do some additional analytics, so we'll now have 1.25-1.5 people working on the task. I'm not sure what most teams have, but it's a start.

BP ad says they're looking to fill five positions, not one. Confusing when he says 'someone' but I think he's talking about their ideal candidate.

Great job by TGP. Congrats to all. Although I did chuckle at David Cohen's comment that that the interview answers are a bit of a rorscach test for fans seeing what they wanted in it. Fair does to john stolnis for asking tough questions, mind.

I'm going to send him my resume and ask if he needs an IT infrastructure person!

the phillies are notoriously low payers to their IT staff. They feel they can attract people who will work there just to watch the games for free.

Not JUST one guy. I wish the Phillies had that one guy. And listened to him!

Gotcha. I haven't seen the ad. So it does sound like a whole department./

Feels like Howard hasn't been on the team since 2011. Can't wait until the popos are back, then he'll K three times in a game and we'll be sick of it already

The really nice thing about the way all of this is going is that when the Phils win 85-88 games this year we'll all be high fives.

What exactly would the conspiracy be? I'm pretty sure they'd rather him just being out there hitting home runs
