I mean it does look pretty damn bad that Sox went from ass pitching with him in 2012 to WS champions. Can't really blame him for Lester in 2012 (his xFIP was actually lower than it was this year, but ERA 1.5 runs higher), Lackey (missed entire 2012) or Beckett (fat piece of shit who was already washed up with McClure got there). Buchholz was a lot better when he left, but idk what to draw from that. Sox fans on Masshole boards seem to credit him for helping out Andrew Miller but are pissed that he failed with the Bard conversion

Really, as long as he openly shows contempt and rage towards Kendrick during mound visits and dugout talks, he's good in my book

i'm fairly certain, with my zero knowledge of the situation, that will go as well as every other post-gillick ruben-ian decision has gone. dude'll probably try to teach cole how to throw underhand

I'd like to compare the Royals 2013 results to their 2006-2011 results, but I'm still at work, and really don't want to cry here.

Iron Pig infielder Andres Blanco gets a big league camp invite. Hit .235 (ops .648) in 120 games last year. Big league career includes being caught stealing 9 times in 10 attempts

As long as he doesn't walk too much, I'm cool with it.
