We came into last season the prohibitive favorites, with Galvis and Juan Nixington holding down four spots, not to mention the palls to Qualls.

I have to be negative nancy over here,but I can see this happening. I'm going to get all excited about him at the start of the season, he's going to struggle, and we're going to hear about how he's not in form yet because he got a late start and then i'm going to be all pissed and down about it. Doc can get through bad starts with his max preparation because his "stuff" isnt always there. I just got a bad feeling here. Or maybe the extra rest will help him feel fresh because he's pitches 7000 innings in the past few years, not to mention the past decade. who knows, he's a wildcard even though he's roy fucking halladay

It's definitely a concern. But my understanding of the injury was it's the kind of thing that could completely go away with rest, and not chronic. But maybe there's more going on. I'm banking on something in between his 2011 and 2012
