i´ve convinced myself that fowler in his prime will be pretty darn good, even outside of coors and without his freakish 2012 babip. he strikes me as just the type to have a really good prime despite being mediocre before and after.
worley and cloyd for fowler.
sign youkilis, mccarthy and a good reliever. mccarthy is an upgrade of worley, and shouldn´t be too pricey.
wait to see if some better corner outfield platoon options than we already have shake loose.

OK, get Hamilton and Soriano and call it a day.

pagan and upton signing elsewhere as stand alone options dont really bother me. what bothers me is we have 4 areas to address and have filled none. But we gave it a good try!! if we had less spots to fill...i wouldnt be so anxious to add to the team

Wonder if Fausto Carmona-Hernandez could make a decent reclamation project for a reliever. He always had a huge GB rate (58% career). Maybe he picks up a few extra mph out of the pen

Sign greinke, trade Worley for choo or fowler and just pitch the shit out of the ball.

Appreciate the creativity. Greinke is a mental case though. He'd melt in Philly.

Please tell me something good is going to happen.

What would be too much for Fowler? Worley alone? Worley plus a May or Pettitbone? Worley plus a Morgan, Martin or Biddle?

Given youth, position, control (3 years) and offensive profile (switch-hitter with some speed, power and patience), I think he's the guy. And I'm not sure who'd compete with them other than the Reds. But I'm also not certain why Colorado would trade him, other than their permanent need for pitching and lack of other assets.

I wonder if Worley, May and Schwimer or Rosenberg would do it.

He really does have big time mental demons. Friend is a huge Royals fan. He has told me a lot of stories about this.

O'Dowd is awful so you never know what to expect. They were trying to trade him all the time before last season happened. I'd definitely do Worley, but I'd hope Rube could talk the secondary pieces down from May. Although at this point I think May is closer to our 5th best pitching prospect than he is our 2nd.
