I finally come up with a possibly interesting Phillies post, and the thread gets locked. Here it is again:

A search for Clyde Milan turns up nothing, so I'm assuming the updated comps on b-r for our present and recently departed Phils hasn't been noted yet:

Ryan Howard=Mark Mcgwire (finally shaking off Richie Sexson, not to mention Jim Gentile)

Chase Utley=Joe Gordon

Jimmy Rollins=Alan Trammell

Placido Polanco=Julio Franco (somehow doubt Plucky's career trend will be similar from here on , though)

Carlos Ruiz=Bo Diaz

Juan Pierre= Clyde %&*#@ Milan

Shane Victorino=Steve Finley

Hunter Pence=Aubrey Huff

Cole Hamels=John Candelaria

Cliff Lee=Denny Neagle

Roy Halladay=Tim Hudson

Jonathan Papelbon=Trevor Hoffman

Kyle Kendrick=Joe Blanton!

Well, hell. I thought the thread title would get filtered which would have left it up to interpretation and made it slighty humorous. I'm willing to take suggestions for a change.

Nix's comparisons are great. He want from HOF Scott Hairston to ol friend Jerry Martin, and others on the similarity lists include Ankiel, ol friend Ricky Ledee, Elijah Dukes, Ralph Kiner, Wily Mo Pena, and Art Shamsky, who was better known as the name of the bulldog on "Everybody Loves Raymond" than his actual career

I'm perfectly fine with that, but they really have to go ham. Two big-time outfielders. At least one of the Uptons. Kate would suffice.
