Finally...

She's been driving me nuts with that. I don't know what's so hard to understand about Utley resting his knees in the winter and then having trouble getting going in Clearwater. That was the Phils' advice as well.

But moreso because he's Chase freaking Utley.

Ryan Howard might be one of the most frustrating players to watch hit on a daily basis.

With that said, he's still putting up decent numbers (at a time when hitting is down across the league) and he makes our line-up better just by batting clean-up.

Pet peeve when coaches take good numbers like these. Save them for the players and wear 67 or something.

Are people still running this one out there? At a time when hitting is down across the league, he was 9% below league average in terms of OPS, as a first baseman. Granted, he was recovering from a nasty injury, but it's one that some athletes just don't recover from.

Sort of interested to see what the 2014-2015ish Ryan Howard talking points will be because dang
