I knew he was bad but just not how bad

i wonder who was 1-9

I didn't see this answered so

10. 2012 Ty Wigginton -1.7
9. 1976 Bobby Tolan -1.8
8. 1969 Cookie Rojas -1.9
7. 1970 Denny Doyle -2.1
6. 1994 Kim Batiste -2.1 lol
5. 1969 Ron Stone -2.3
4. 1983 Pete Rose -2.3 :(
3. 2004 Marlon Byrd -2.3
2. 2011 Raul Ibanez -2.3 heh
1. 1997 Rico Brogna -2.7

that being said B-R rejiggered their WAR this year and it's kind of stupid now. There's sort of a weird double positional adjustment going on.

Holy crap I didn't realize Ibanez was THAT BAD last year

Yet 2004 Marlon Byrd was equally as bad as 2011 Glue. At least Glue had an excuse.

Speaking of 2004, it's not really testable but the 2004 Phils had to have had one of the greatest differences in quality between starting rotation and bullpen ever

It's cool that low-income families can get into a game a little cheaper. And a lot of people who bought those premium games scalped them for big profits (and still can).

This is what they did at the Orioles games this year. It's like double the price to see the Phils/Yanks/Sawks. We are talking 75 bucks for lower level, compared to like 30 bucks for the Blue Jays

MLB is just crawling with platoon guys who can put up 35 HR and 135 RBI

I know, those days are over. Although he just did it (prorated) on one leg

I realize he wasn't 100% but c'mon. He had a .303 wOBA last year. He's heading very, very quickly into Vernon Wells territory. There's no more defending Howard.

I have to take it as fact that it was Father Time rather than the injury that sapped his wOBA? That he's now a .295 OBP guy and not the pretty consistent .350 OBP guy he was even in his "platoon player lol" years of 2008-20011?

Counting stats aren't everything, I know, but 35 HR and 135 RBI (prorated over 700 PA) with the rust/injury gives me some hope at least.
