The cool thing is you don't even need a game ticket to hang out, and you can bring a cooler of your own beers. My group set up between the stadium and the judges' tent so the announcers and ballplayers had to walk past us, and some of them stopped in for a beer. They're all much larger than they look on the radio. Ball girls hang around too but can't drink.

Watching the Sarge highlights on the pre-game show, I had totally forgotten how athletic he was. I just can't picture the current Sarge like that at all.

Headley is the prototype steep decline guy.

We need to find a guy who is ready to peak. Not a guy who already peaked.

There has to be a 3B equivalent to Kratz! Out there somewhere. The true test for Amaro is whether he can find him.

pads are somewhat likel to just keep or even extend headley, since they control him for a couple more years and have made noises about going for it next year and extended other guys recently. i've been looking at their other 3b guys, but i'm getting pessimistic about any trade with them. gyorko is the best fit for the phils, but i think they are grooming him to take over 2b, where he has more value to them than maybe even worley would. darnell james has the bat, but has the error totals of a butcher at 3b. if you want a kratz, maybe jesus mercham.

if the rangers sign hamilton, i don't see how they really need olt. we should be able to get him in exchange for some arms. maybe with worley rubes can work his jason knapp exhange-a-damaged-pitcher-for-a-really-good-player magic again.
