I just looked up his 2003 #s. Not bad. I remember him failing as a starter but being good in middle relief. He must have gotten hurt in August because he only pitched 1 inn in Sept.

Why don't we trade for Willingham? He's signed for 2 more years, he's OPS+ing above Pence levels and costs in '13/14 about what Pence would cost next season. He'd solve LF (albeit not in a great defensive way) for the foreseeable future and allows you to deal Pence. Pence will bring back alot more than what we'd have to give up to get contract-friendly Willingham.
