Well Galvis is batting eighth. Not sure who the second-worst is at this point, honestly.

We all understand the theories behind lining your best OBP guys up 1-8. But spare me the babe gothery over Charlie wanting two of his three line-drive hitters, Rollins and Victorino, in the middle of the order against righties.

And, underscoring the irrelevance of all this, Victorino leads off tonight.

Trent, you've let me down in ways I can't even articulate. This is like the day I found out my dad wasn't very good at sports (as an aside it took me just another month to learn that I wasn't very good at sports).


Juan Pierre is to General Managers as "not believing in dinosaurs" is to Vice Presidents. It's a fundamentally disqualifying issue. He's never the right answer to any question you could come up with. There's always a better option if he makes a dollar over the minimum.
