I love Dom Brown and I want to see him succeed really, really badly, but it does seem the "THEY'RE BURYING DOM BROWN KILL AMARO" crowd ignores how brutal he was defensively

Pretty rarely squared up on a fastball as well

But the plate discipline was really nice to see

Honestly, if you can get an upside 3B for dom brown like Chase Headley, I would do it. We need to get younger at 3B and not get stuck with Orr,Wigginton,Valdez at 3b again when Polanco gets hurt again this year(you know its going to happen)

I think we can make the playoffs without giving up assets for Chase Headley

we can make the playoffs yes..but need the offense to produce enough to win in playoffs. making playoffs is too small a goal.

Polanco playing but playing hurt is no better than Pete Orr at 3B offensively so I think the need to get a 3B is now(or by trade deadline) and not waiting till next offseason.
