I'll be darned, they do know what they're doing, don't they?
The switch has been flipped

Interesting question my brother just asked....Has anyone else been on a 100 win team and 100 loss team in the same season?
Fred McGriff (SD to ATL) and Melvin Nieves (ATL to SD) in 1993

Found two more:
-- Jay Powell in 1998 (traded from Florida to Houston)
-- Jeff Weaver in 2002 (traded from Detroit to the Yankees in a 3-way with another 100-win team, Oakland)

No, no, you can't flip the switch in the playoffs.
They did it before the playoffs, so it's OK.
@Phillies
Phillies
2011 Phillies are 10th team in liveball era to have pair of pitchers (Doc/Lee) each win at least 17 games with an ERA no higher than 2.40.

Thanks for clarifying.
Love we had the highest attendance this year.
"A lot of people say you can't turn it off and on, but I've seen us do it a lot of times," Phillies right-hander Brad Lidge said. "I think you can."

Oswalt combined with Roy Halladay, Cliff Lee and Cole Hamels for 25 innings in their final regular-season starts, allowing 16 hits, three earned runs and five walks and striking out 20 to post an impressive 1.08 ERA.

Happy Ending Specialist.
Ichiro has been in Clearwater for the past few summers. My son has been at the Threshers camp for the past three years and he's been there every time. I"ve seen him quite a bit during Threshers games. My guess is that he came up with the other callups after the minor season ended.
