If Madson is looking for big closer money, I agree. But if he would actually sign for 2 years at $7M per I figure he's not really getting in the way of the other two goals.

I actually take this back. I could see him signing a one year deal for really cheap if he's healthy and the Phils want him back. They'll always like a veteran or two back there. He probably really likes it here, he just gets to chill back and relax, and he has a starting staff that can go 7 a night. His time is winding down, this is like an early retirement

Honestly, it might be best just to move on. Worley should be fine and you'd have to think that Blanton will have a bounce back year. I would focus on getting Hamels signed and resolving the issue at third.

Depends on the price. If he wants to sign a 2-20 deal, don't you have to take something like that? He's Roy #$&! Oswalt

I want them to fix 3rd base, but I could see Rube putting that on the backburner since Polanco still makes money and still has a year left on his deal. Unfortunately, I can see them taking care of that after 2012.

Polanco 2012=Raul 2011
