I never saw this game when it happened. We were at the Flyers game that day.

The main takeaway I get from this game is that Willie Aikens was the worst defensive first baseman I have ever seen.

Hit homers; made errors; didn't hit triples; did cocaine.

That's how I'll remember Willie Mays Aikens.

Phillies score 4 or more runs and are 36-3. They are also 16-14 when scoring 2 or 3 runs.

Besides the three aces, the Phils other pitching -- other starters and bullpen -- aren't losing them games. They give up runs in games they pretty much aren't going to win anyway.

It is the year of the pitcher and all but wow.

Against Hudson/Beachy/Hanson

Is it mandatory that Beachy face us in every series?

That looks like a good series.

It's a shame we have to destroy them.

I'm waiting for the first fan to show up with a custom Nats jersey, No. 92 and "Haynes-werth" on the back.

Hey look, another article using an injury to explain away the fact that Polanco blows. Standard practice every time he stops hitting (and by stop hitting him I mean his BABIP goes from utterly unsustainable to a little unlucky). Enough with this crap.

Actually I don't think babip is the major factor in how Polanco was hitting when he was hot or now that he's cold.

fwiw, I dislike Polanco more than Victorino at this point.

I really really really hope we attempt to upgrade 3B this winter, even though there is no chance of it happening.

I'll also say this. The current Phillies team is the softest bunch of babies I can remember in a long time.

Madson, Victorino, Polanco. Constantly bitching about little injuries.

I can't wait to see the backside of Madson when he departs via free agency. Piece of motherfucking cocksucking shit
