also, if bell is getting 3/33, what figure is madson projecting this offseason?

im sure someone will give Madson 3/27.

I'd rather have Bell.

With the new CBA this winter, free agents will see an uptick in their contracts.

Wonder if the Phils have a similar policy.

Of course it is. There's a dress code at the Linc. Have you ever seen anybody working at the Linc who's not in some sort of LFF polo or Eagles attire? (or security attire, obviously)

I have friends working for all 4 major teams, and none of them would go to work wearing attire of a team that isn't their employer. There may be a rivalry, but that's not an indicator of it at all.

That is something. I know experience doesn't get people out, but that's a lot of rookie in the bullpen.

Someone at BSGIV asked me to make this (I forget who, give yourself a shoutout). So I did as a sign that I made it home without being dead once.

Nope. Polanco has only played 5 games in LF, all with us in 2005. Pujols did play all four corner positions in 2001.

I think Polanco played LF in Spring Training until they switched (in 2001, maybe 2002). Not sure if that was because Pujols was more comfortable in LF or Polanco was more comfortable at 3B.

Also, http://sports.espn.go.com/mlb/playoffs2 ... id=2635875. When Polanco, the Tigers' second baseman and third-place hitter, visits St. Louis in the offseason, he and his family stay at the Pujols' house. The hospitality is returned when the Pujols are in Detroit or Miami. Pujols is godfather to Polanco's son. "For us Latin players, the relationship between compadres is sacred," Polanco explained. "The godfather of your child is like his second father in case something happens to you. It's like another member of the family."

He was going to attempt this last year in April and got hurt a week beforehand and pretty much had a lost season. Plz don't get hurt beforehand or during it.

this brings upa few questions-

why hasn't anyone else tried to top this before?
why Rollins who isn't a premier power hitter and not Howard instead?

I think because Rollins is a RedBull spokesperson and they're sponsoring the event.
