4 of his 8 BBs are intentional, so his BB rate is actually better. Also, his GB rate is at 55%, which is a significant uptick.
I know what you're asking yourself and the answer is yes. I have a nick name for my penis. Its called the Octagon, but I also nick named my testes - my left one is James Westfall and my right one is Doctor Kenneth Noisewater.

What did Worley say? I must have missed it.

used an andy reid line by saying that "[the phillies] didn't put me in a position to be successful" after all the call-ups/options and from reliever/starter.
On a scale of 1 to Chris Brown, how pissed is he?

I missed it too, but probably something along the lines of "Yo, FUCK this shit, I'm better than fucking Kyle Kendrick!"

theoretically with off days, they'll need a 5th starter to go on June 8th, then wouldn't need another one until June 16th.
Two days later I get a text back that says I'm a basketball player and a businessman, not a Thundercat.

I'm curious to see who they bring up to take his roster spot.

Sorry if this was already posted, but on July 22nd, the Phillies will be wearing their maroon home uniforms for the first time at CBP. Apparently, it will be the 1984 version, which is notable because it was the first season that featured this logo:

Image

What on earth is memorable about July 22, 1984, or why 1984 in general ought to be celebrated, is beyond me. Phils won on July 22, 1984, in Atlanta, a 6-2 decision for Carlton against the Braves. The Phils finished 1984 at 81-81.

1984 is also the year I first attended a Phillies game, on April 21, 1984. Maybe they are celebrating the 27th anniversary of that, just about 3 months late.

So they compared a Whopper to a Wendy's single burger? That doesn't even make sense.

I thought it strange the last couple of years, when the Phillies have done a 70s and an 80s retro night, that the team had the ballgirls dress in the old 70s-80s style garb, butr not the team.

I thought it was just part of their new, elite persona: Fuck you, we don't need any minor league promotions to sell this place out. I liked this attitude. Oh well.

On the other hand, the 1984 Topps set were my favorite baseball cards from my youth:

I don't think McDonalds wore brown with orange/yellow, but back then I was more interested in the Happy Meal toys

Nice picture. I did not remember how high the Pope's camauro rode on his dome. For those of us for whom a ballcap just doesn't add anything, Owens is a forgotten hero.
Yes, but in a double utley you can put your utley on top they other guy's utley, and you're the winner. (Swish)
