He's making 12M this year, 14M next, then 15M for the two years after that. I thought that maybe he hit better when he played the field compared to being a DH (which would explain his extreme decent after going to the AL) but somehow he managed to hit MUCH worse as a 1B than DH. In 59 PA he has a .380 OPS.
