The Clemens trial sure lasted long. The judge declared a mistrial after the prosecuters played a clip of testimony that he ruled previously the jury should not be allowed to hear.

The problem with attention whores is that they have to keep raising the bar in over the top behavior to keep people focused on them.

Speaking of the douchlord Wilson, going to the game tomorrow against the Fathers and to my surprise Timmayyyy is pitching. 2nd time i'll see him pitch this year (first being opening day). He's going to murder that lineup jesus.

Lincecum is another one I hate.

Brian Gordon ffs. Baez is next.

Anyways, Baseball Prospectus is pretty good and all but today there's this article abvout the best (and worst) pitcher based on WARP. So Cliff Lee edges the Doc because Lee is a good hitter and the Doc isn't. WARP counts hitting for pitchers. Fair enough.

But also the Braves' Derek Lowe (4.2 WARP) better than Lee (3.9) and damn near the top of the chart pitcher in MLB.

That's just WARPED innit?
Teams lie, sometimes for good reasons, sometimes for bad. They do it to get an advantage while they look at the trade market or just because they can

Braves will be tough in a short series, especially if they can get Uggla, Mclouth, and Gonzalez hitting a bit. But to pick them to win is just an attempt to go against general opinion. They look smart if the Braves pull it off and everyone forgets if they don't. There's no downside to it.
