Jeff or dajafi, have you had a chance to check out the Wire on DVD? I remember you wanting to.

We put it in the Netflix queue. So in 2010 or so I'll probably be able to discuss it with you...

season 11 of south park starts on wednesday.

What speaks even louder: Neither the duo nor the network will be revealing the plot of the episode before it debuts, period. "If it got out what it was," Parker says, "someone would try to stop us from doing it before it got on the air." Impending controversy? Hooray!

thought it was pretty funny. premise might get old over the 6 episodes, but overall the best 3 camera sitcom on tv (competition includes according to jim, two and a half men and george lopez).

I thought it was pretty cute. Watched it with my family, and that might have had something to do with it. We seem to enjoy cheesy humor more together.

Still, I liked it. The characters are likeable, and Corddry and the kid are good together.

I am now officially with Vox re: Battlestar Galactica. I wish they'd stopped it after the fourth episode of this season, when they got off the planet.

This one tonight was almost like an insult. I'll probably keep watching, out of morbid curiosity more than anything else, but they've pretty clearly gone beyond a point of no return as far as the past greatness of that show.

Wow. I probably won't see it for a few days - but this must mean my head is going to explode.

Complaining about BSG is like people pointing out flaws in the Sopranos...it's still the freaking Sopranos.

The Sopranos is always good and often great. BSG had a great first two seasons, but this season has been a yawner. It's turned into a soap opera. Will Lee leave his wife? Does Kara love Lee? I'm done too.

It's DSP, what it's supposed to mean is probably lost in the idiocy...

Just finished up season 2.5 of galactica this past weekend and the first half of season 3 isn't on DVD yet, but let me say with all this positive talk on here, i'm SO looking forward to it.

And the sopranos has had bad episodes, when they tried to replace livia with janice to try and continue tony's 'mother' issues they had some serious misfires in my opinion.

I checked it out, it was alright. The laugh track really ruined it for me though. It also kind of reminds me of 40-yo virgin in some scenes, which isn't a bad thing.

Did anyone watch the Black Donnely's? I caught some of the episode on thursday and it looked interesting, is it worth looking into?

I watched the Black Donnellys last week and I'm definitely in for a second look. I thought it was a little too derivative of mob movies like A Bronx Tale, Goodfellas, Once Upon A Time In America, but it did feature some unexpected scenes and pretty good acting. It will be very interesting to see what they do with the storyline that developed at the end.

I haven't watched TBD yet, but I DVRed the first episode and will probably watch it today before tonight's ep.

I am watching the show solely because a friend of mine is going to be on the 11th episode (assuming it lasts that long). She is also going to be in Fox's upcoming drama "Supreme Courtships" starring Shane West. (CAUTION: FALLING NAMES)
Fine. You wanna act like you're two? I'll act like I'm one.
