the pilot was terrific but this episode was lacking. judging from the pilot numbers, im not sure its gonna be around much longer.

in terms of 40 minutes of entertainment, go for it. in terms of investing in a show for the long term, probably not worth it.

I can't believe House faked cancer just so he could get a shot to the brain for a high. It was obvious that the scans were someone else's because there's no way they'd kill him off the show like that....

It's the only time in a span of 5 weeks that they're actually showing House. It was off the last 2 weeks because of Idol, and it's off the next 2 as well....
Speaking of Idol, all 8 guys sucked and that ####y Indian is going to get another pass from stupid America...

Yikes.
Anyway, House's audience is perpetuated from the Idol audience. They are trying to use the post-Idol timeslot to launch a few shows (worked for the 5th grader one), and are aware that when House returns, the audience will return with it. Also, by doing this, they will run House rerun free until the end of the year.
