Theyve actually made a pilot sitcom starring the cavemen from the Geico commercials. It could either be genius or a one-note joke that falls flat.

Anyone know if the Wire will be out on DVD? I'd like to get caught up with the previous seasons, like I did with 24 this past year. Thanks!

All the other seasons are out on DVD though.

I also recommend Friday Night Lights, it's a really good show.

Agreed. How many did he do? There's two I can think of, I can't remember the titles but according to my memory they were great.

Okay, I've only ever seen Freak and Sexaholix. I'd be interested in checking out the other two.

They are all great in my opinion, Leguizamo has had a messed up life but tells some great stories...d'bag, d'bag, d'bag.

I don't know if anyone here shares my fawning veneration for "The Prisoner", but if so, you might be excited to hear that British TV and AMC are working on a remake.

I've been to a few Blockbuster's and other stores and have not found The Wire on DVD! Do you know where? Thanks!

Hmm not sure, but I know they are out there, maybe netflix or download them from a torrent site maybe. I hope you find them because it's one of the greatest shows ever IMO and that's not intended as hyperbole.

I've never seen this show but have always wanted to since the Simpsons episode where they parody it.

Just an FYI Longdrive, they significantly switch gears in season 2, now I still found it compelling but I know of others who didn't, so if you don't keep going season 3 gets back on track to the original plot lines and theme's.

season 2 is frusturating at first because you want to continue on with the gripping season 1 story, but after a bit, you get caught up and just as interested in the story of the death of the working class.

id go:
4
1
2/3 tie

but you should in order, its literally the best show in the history of tv and should be watched in order.
