BTW, BSG was great last night. I wonder what dajafi's take on it is? I have to rewatch it first.

I liked it too. The Chief is an easy character to like and Baltar might be able to pull his whole Mein Kampf thing off.

I liked it better than most of the recent ones, though I thought everything was too neatly resolved at the end and it strains credulity IMO that anybody who'd been on New Caprica would give Baltar anything like a fair hearing... That said, it's always good when the "heroes" behave unsympathetically.

The next four weeks should be interesting--they'll either prove that they still can make great TV or confirm Vox's take that the show is in irreversible decline.

The whole time I was watching it, I was wondering how they were going to wrap it up nice and neat. So, it loses points in my book for that. No surprises, very textbook.

Vox wil hate.

johnny ice cream? Are they kidding with that one? No mic ganster would ever have a lame name such as that. I sincerly hope that whole narration business was just for the pilot.

I'm always a week behind on BSG, but last weeks episode (the one with Callie and Chief stuck in the airlock) was as bad as they've been. When did this become the pity party poor me sad sack of shit show?

Something tells me I'll have the same opinion of this past Sunday's show. I'll know when I stop complaining about it that I've really finished, but I'll say it again - I'd have stopped watching most other shows by now. I'm not even interested in the Trial of Baltar, because I don't believe Moore has any idea what he's doing anymore. Time to move on, brother.

It really was. Advances the story. Answers questions. Brings about new ones. Thoroughly entertaining. Bennet's transition from villain to hero in Claire's eyes was artfully done.

A few questions/thoughts. Isaac shoots Simone and they don't address it? Cruel.

Stan Lee was on last week's episode.

Hiro's dad? Hmmm.

Hana Gitelman aims Ted and Matt at Primatech, but she doesn't go with them. Wasn't that suspicious to them? Was that her at the end working for the organization? Why send Ted and Matt if she was working for them? Why didn't she go if she wasn't?

Matt was conscious and free after the house blew. Yet in the next season, he's sedated and in their custody. Huh?

What are the Haitan's abilities? Eric Roberts told Bennet that Matt's abilities would be valuable for a partner, leading me to believe that the Haitan isn't telepathic. I thought he was. He's erased memories and blocked Sylar's and Eden's abilities.

The haitians powers are manipulating memory...that's been pretty obvious for a while.

Heroes doesn't really balance out the story lines ever week...nothing about the 'vegas' family at all after her assasination...nothing about 'cypher' boy and nothing about shadowkat dad...no petrellis...but this week was still good, i liked learning about the paper guy (but eric robers looks like hell)

but some more intrigue, who did eccleston hide? Was it Issac or his girlfriend?

WHo is linderman (if it has been announced yet i don't know but that preview looked like a nice profile shot of donald sutherland)

I don't mind the weeks when stories aren't covered, cause it stertches out the story, if i recall properly the explosion in new york city was in 'november' wasn't it? So how much time has actually passed so far in the 'universe' of the show.

I finished watching this past week's BSG. It was pretty good, actually, overall the episode was well written and compelling.

I have a bit of a problem with what they expect me to believe when it comes to Chief. I mean, is he a moron? Had he never considered what Adama said at the end of the episode (your kid will just as easily be dead or orphaned if you are killed by me, or by Cylons because you won't work)? I assumed all along he weighed that out and still made the decision he did.

The explosion was the day after election day (remember the newspaper reported that Nathan had won the election). That was 5 weeks in the future from when Hiro first teleported into the future.

Now, is Sulu the guy in charge of everything? He has to know Hiro has powers then. Is Hiro his biological son? If so, does Sulu or Hiro's sister have powers too? From everything the show's been saying thus far, the powers have been passed on from generation to generation.

NBC won the night Monday. "Deal or No Deal" is popular with the older set. That's how the show got a 10.6 household and 4.9 A18-49, while "Heroes" got an 8.4 household and a 6.4 A18-49. "The Black Donnellys" didn't hold "Heroes" audience, but did so better than "Studio 60" did. Of course this was the premiere episode. It may not hold. That could be a nail in "Studio 60's" coffin though.

Hiros dad is not linderman, but not shocking that he's involved in this, but he's idea of protecting his son was trying to get him to come back and join the family business...it's probably a rather large international consortium.
