Question: Any scoop on Battlestar Galactica?— Ananya

Ausiello: All you guys praying to the Sci Fi gods to increase the show's fourth-season episode order from 13 to 22 should be careful what you wish for. My friends over at syfyportal.com are suggesting that those nine extra episodes — should they be commissioned — would actually be used to wrap up the series. As in permanently.

Eh, I'd be okay with that too. Maybe more than okay. It's not a concept you can drag out forever, and while I'm not nearly as down on the show as Vox is, the truth is they haven't had any really great episodes since they got off New Caprica. I'm really hoping that the last four of this season will show they still have it in them.

My wife likes it, too. I have no idea whether it is getting or got picked up or not.
Fine. You wanna act like you're two? I'll act like I'm one.

The Class is ok, it's better than a lot of shows right now. I watch it occasionally, and the only other sitcom I ever watch is Two and a Half Men. Apparently the ratings for The Class aren't very good, so I would be surprised if it does get picked up, but hopefully it will.
Do it again!

Lets hope this provides some focus and direction and they go out as the actual best show on TV (as the Newsweek blurb keeps reminding us).

I said to my wife as we watched the previews that he looked like him. She said it looked like Donald Sutherland (I get to rub it in her face)

Most shows don't receive pick-ups until late April or May, so it's too early to tell. Sitcoms aren't popular these days with audiences or the networks. ABC, NBC, and CBS each only have two hours now, while Fox has around 3.5. The Class is the 4th highest rated sitcoms on TV and it gets decent numbers. That's the good news. The three highest are CBS' three other Monday night shows. If Earl or George Lopez aired there, they'd get better ratings than they do now. Still, The Class holds almost all of Your Mother's audience and that's a big deal to the networks. I'd guess it'll be back.

Ditto. I'm always a couple of weeks behind - I think it really is better than LOST at this point (not to dis Lost).

They appear to have much better control of what's happening at any given time, solid simple delivery, good acting, and a very satisfying pace of setups and reveals. The end of this week's episode (Claire saving the day) was right out of good movies that no one makes anymore - never mind the fact that a movie doesn't have the time to develop a character like Claire.

Just picked up two things in a second viewing.

Haitian: I answer to someone higher than you.
Bennet: In the company?
Hatiain: In Claire's life.
Who?

That was Simone in the preview saying, "Do you want to shoot me again?" Wow.

If Claire's parents can't conceive (or were having trouble conceiving) - what are the odds that Lyle is also adopted?

Hey for a few weeks I wondered if they forgot that they had a son.

"Picked it up" on the first viewing by paying attention, but my curiosity was most piqued by the fact that eccleston 'hid' someone.
