sons and daughters. it was much, much more difficult to sell and not as funny as knights, but it was still pretty good. they ran it for a month or so at 9 on tuesdays back to back. it had no prayer.

I found Sons & Daughters funnier than Knights for what it's worth

4, but I haven't watched Studio 60 since Christmas hiatus, and now that I know it's cancelled I'll probably never bother to watch them - so it's probably only three.

I watch 9 and still have hope that since studio 60 is pulling in the money people it might get a second year reprieve with some 'retooling'

jem, its too expensive to produce. it could, could get a 13 episode midseason birth where nbc could put it into a timeslot that failed in the fall. but the production costs are too high. its done.

well that's what i'm talking about with the 'retooling', trimming the cast, finding less expensive ways to shoot.

One of the highest costs of an aaron sorkin series is the rewrites...dude is constantly rewritig, even while episodes are being shot, leads to serious over time issues

i doubt sorkin lets nbc dictate how he will run his show. im not even sure if the retooling will matter. what audience they once had, they have lost in the past few weeks with this ridiculous direction the show is taking by focusing on two relationships between four people that aren't compelling, relatable or interesting.

its a bad show at this point, i just wish the pilot was never picked up so it couldve gone out on top.
