Shark gets ok numbers (won it's time slot 'overall' last night, against a new ER) but they killed my favorite character, and the bodyguard daughter love story is just stupid

Black Donnellys on march 5, mondays at 10
Andy Barket on march 15, thursdays at 930

If Donnellys hold more of Heroes's audience than S60 does, then it's toast. Barker has 6 episode order, 30 Rock will be back in April.

Made me laugh way harder than The Office this week. I can't believe they got that first joke past the censors.

It was good, I must admit that I was pretty down on this show because Tina Fey was the head writer of the worst period of SNL during my lifetime and I can't stand her. That said, apparently she's a better sitcom writer then sketch and Alec Balwin is brilliant.

I think it took me a while to realize what she was getting at. They don't let a single opportunity for a joke to pass, no matter how simple or silly. Once that hit me, that in and of itself became funny.

I like that she apparently has a really silly sense of humor.

Robert Smigel (sp?) blames her for SNL's inability to skewer politics fairly over the past eight years.

You obviously haven't seen how bad the show has been since she left. At least, had she still been on the show, you know they wouldn't have passed up the fact that the Bears are in the Super Bowl and brought back the SuperFans in some fashion last night.

Funny, I blame Smigel for making a ton of cartoons the past few years that are just so retarded and unfunny, you forget this was the same guy that created the A.G.D. and the ex-Presidents.

No, your right it probably is worse right now but I haven't really watched the show in a few years because of how bad it is. I guess I hate her because the decline and general unfunniness started and then got chronically worse under her watch.
She was also god freaking awful on Weekend Update.

Forest Whitaker will host SNL for the first time this Saturday. Musical guest is Keith Urban...

In her defense, this is a minority opinion. Most put her time on WE, particularly with that guy who left and no one has heard from him since, up there with Chevy Chase and Dennis Miller.

I believe you are incorrect. Norm totally rocked the body that rocked the WE party.

I'd rank Norm second only to Miller. He was extraordinarily popular. Lorne Michaels has erased him from history, I think that's why you don't hear more.

I couldn't stand Kevin Neelon, whom many liked, and Colin Quinn didn't do much for me. Then again, the current two really stink.

Miller was great, Norm was pretty good, Tina Fey a little better than Norm IMO.

Also, Tina Fey=sort of my dream woman.

1. Norm
2. Kevin Nealon
3. Dennis Miller

Anything else is either too old for me to have watched much of, or is just average.

Jimmy Fallon has probably done more than 90% of all SNL alums.

Fallon and Ferrell are far and away the two most overall talented members in a long time.

Seriously? Her and Fallon were terrible, I think I only disliked Collin Quinn more then those two. I would say that about everyone I know who'd discuss this type of thing would agree with me. Everything they did was just so broad, lacked any of the satire and depth in humor that it had onced possessed, very obvious an almost lame style of humor IMO. I'd say that her entire tenure as Head Writer and anchor on Weekend Update was generally unfunny. 30 Rock on the other hand is very good and I've begun to watch it every week and download it if I miss it.

I actually liked Fey and Fallon, but I won't argue against the naysayers. And sure, Fallon isn't a superstar, but Fever Pitch was better than most of the other alums movies, though, I can't imagine Taxi was even remotely funny.

I wasn't really passing judgement on him, just commenting that he hasn't really done anything in a sizable amount of time and I haven't read about him having anything in the cooker either. I didn't really like him on Weekend Update but he clearly has some talent.
