Who's on that list is a matter of grave importance.

Yes, he was the first of the 'new' dr whos, eccleston is a guy I like...but can someone point me to the x-men storyline where rogue stole too many powers and exploded?

In sick annoying cross over synergy, the actor who plays hiro will appear on next weeks episode of studio 60

I don't think it'll hurt studio 60 to have someone likable on there... I liked Heroes, but it was just a setup episode. Still, nice to see them finally bringing the cast together.
And it's pretty obvious that Peter isn't exploding due to absorbing too many powers, he absorbed atmoic man's power and couldn't control it.

Well Rogue still never exploded...and where's magneto.

Studio 60 has quite a few likable characters, then again last night seemed like Sorkin was

A. Going out of his way to create conflict
B. Trying to write romance on television, which he's never done well in my opinion in his 3 'back stage' shows.

Didn't they say they were going to drop the politics on "Studio 60" and make it more about relationships?

Bradley Whitford is straddling the stalker line right now. If there was creepy music for that last scene with him and Amanda Peet, that's some creepy ish

I guess Parkman just needs a professor X. but I think they said the homeless guy is actually supposed to teach people how to harness their powers?
Everytime they bring someone on the verge of being likable, Sorkin just makes them into an ass, for seemingly no reason. Especially Simon last night. I mean, I don't think any of that was warranted. They made a previously entertaining character into a jerk for no reason. And yea, the romance storylines are definately stalling out.

I thought there was a really good reason...goes back to why they were at the comedy club in the first place, plus let's not forget, it's hollywood, stars have egos, and darius wasn't stupid, he knew exactly what simon wanted, but it also goes directly back to the '48 rules', the one mentioned shortly (or immediately) after simon came to darius was the 'don't walk in other peoples shoes' rule...

BTW, please stop trying to make coddrys character a heterosexual, he just can't pull it off, and while he's talented, it's not really all that believable.

I hadn't heard ecclestons character was going to be a teacher, all I heard was that he was going to be someone who had 'known' about his powers much longer.

Well if they make it more about relationships, then i expect it won't last as long as it would have if Sorkin sticks to stuff he's good at writing...hell tell us more stories about his hollywood life through the show as he's been doing in the past.

I don't know, I wasn't buying Simon's "I'm saving you" act at the Comedy Club. He didn't even ask Darius if he wanted the job, he just waltzed in and acted like this guy's personal savior. It bugged me, but I let it go, and bringing it back like this is just... irratating. It seems very against character for him. I don't see him as a black power/pride type guy and they really seem to be gunning him into that role. Hope it doesn't self destruct too badly.
Good call about the rules though, I saw that as the common thread, but didn't piece it with the Simon/Darius storyline.
AGREED ON CORDRY. The guy is a fine actor and one of the few likable folks on the show, but yea. And making him gay would allow for a better sense of tension with the parents, aside from the horrendous "Your brother is in the army and you're not" garbage. Terrible episode, but making him gay would add a pretty interesting subplot there and make the issue more real for Harriet.

yes. i am so glad jemagee is back talking about studio 60 and his boyfriend, aaron sorkin. im not being sarcastic or mean, it's entertaining.

i thought the episode was good. sorkin seemed to get off the politcs nonsense, but still had to try to prove some point with the whole simon/darius conflict. im feeling simon is gay, not tom. also, steven webber continues to be my favorite character on that show. he is awsome.

decent recap on Television Without Pity, for those fans that didn't pay much attention or missed it as a result of the late game. Apparently they agree on the love triangle

Next week: the Trial of Gaius Baltar begins, along with mysteries like: How come Kara was painting the Eye of Jupiter back in her old Caprican apartment? What will happen to Athena and Caprica? Will Lee and Dualla and Sam and Kara ever figure their stuff out? Will anyone ever care?

On the next "As The Battlestar Turns"

Kara Thrace drags the entire show down. I find myself not caring about the scene if she's in it. Please strand her in space. Thanks.

Other than that, BSG is as great as ever IMO. I especially love what happened at the end with Six getting off the ship

It's funny, I'm constantly arguing that they need to kill characters off. But when they boxed #3, I was kind of... well, "sad" isn't the word. But she was a fun character, not to mention easy on the eyes. Xena needs xex!

Bradley Whitford went to my school
''I don't know what was harder - that (Phillies lineup) or the All-Star team lineup,'' Haren said.
