Somers just suggested on the FAN that we might win 140 games this year

Heyman laughed, said I don't know about that, and then said, 'well the Mets sure don't have a shot'

Victorino emailed Kevin Cooney tonight on trade: “Ruben and the front office are absolutely amazing. I am so happy that (Lee) is back.”

More from Shane Victorino on Cliff Lee trade: "This shores up arguably the best rotation in baseball.”

Shane really going out on a limb there.

He's a Philly guy though, no? He has good Phillies connections.

He's an ESPN guy that should supercede almost all Philly connections :P. As it is, the numbers in the deals have been changed by him multiple times and all of them to make the Yanks look better in comparison.

Heyman said Yanks offered 6/$148 with a $16 mil player option. So essentially, 7/$164.

He's saying 6 @ 22, which is 132 + 16 so 148

Lee emailed Kevin Cooney a short while later: "Deal clincher was Ruben's promise to throw at least one Hawaiian off team to make up for Ruiz."

Heyman going on about how Pelfrey is the Mets ace and how he's our #5 and how the Mets are so far behind us and the Yanks they shouldn't have cared where he went

Stark:

#Phillies rotation will include MLB leader in WAR (Lee), NL leader in WHIP (Oswalt), NL Cy Young (Halladay) & best LH ERA after 7/1 (Hamels)
