Recieved a text from a Mets fan friend of mine (I know, but we all have them), he said I should be disappointed we did not get Halladay... If only we could be as well off as they right now. If only Rubes could be the GM that Omar Minaya is. Oh wait... er... I mean... whoever is the Mets GM after this week.
Its not so much me as it is Roenick... he's good. --swingers

You should practice this when I am not here. --swingers

What makes Drabek worth not getting Halladay?

Jim Callis (2:37 PM)

Drabek's fastball and curveball give him the potential to be a frontline starter. But it's not like it was a done deal if they included Drabek. Look at it as the Phillies had an option of a) Lee, Drabek, Happ, Brown/Taylor or b) Halladay, Carrasco, Marson, Donald. I'd do just what the Phillies did.
I know what you're asking yourself and the answer is yes. I have a nick name for my penis. Its called the Octagon, but I also nick named my testes - my left one is James Westfall and my right one is Doctor Kenneth Noisewater.

Haven't listened to him in ages, but just these last 5 minutes makes me want to stick a spoon in my eye.

Yeah Rube should blame not getting Halladay on Conlin or something.

So I guess Mayberry gets sent down and Lopez gets DFAed?
This is a simple game. You throw the ball, you hit the ball, you catch the ball.

I tuned in as well. He is now defending himself by saying the Phillies were lucky last year and were especially lucky that they did not have to face the Cubs.

I would get Lopez to fake an injury for a few weeks and make him a 9/1 callup
