I never knew Mauer was from St. Paul. I kinda hope they do sign him long term because it would suck if the Yankees or Red Sox ended up with him.

Am I the only one who never really picks up on any of the "changes" in a new uniform? Sometimes it is a big change and obvious but a lot of times, I see the same thing.

The Pirates saved up enough money to afford sleeves.
The Rangers changed their home white jersey from "RANGERS" to "TEXAS", added the red alternate hat/jersey (to honor the Pudge 'n Gonzo era I guess), changed the helmets to blue/red two-tone, and changed the letter/number font on the back

I'm glad the Pirates brought back sleeves like an actual baseball team, and the black one actually isn't that bad. But what's the deal with the Rangers? Do all their uniforms just say texas now?
