Not only is Aaron not a starter, he is not even good enough to be playing any type competitive baseball. He has become a hated mets pitcher by single-handedly blowing 15 plus games for the mets in the 2008 season. If he is on the opening day roster next year, the mets will lose thousands of fans. He is a cowardly pitcher who wears the save feminine frown on his face every game and is suspected of being paid off by other teams to blow important games. Despite the hate of the fans Heilman continues to show his face at Shea Stadium.
The following are the dates of games in 2008 that the mets lost that can directly be attributed to heilman: 9/21, 8/30, 8/24, 8/11, 8/2, 8/1, 7/26, 7/2, 6/12, 5/30, 5/23, 5/14, 4/8, 4/6. Keep in mind that these dates are only the games he SINGLE-HANDEDLY lost the game for the mets. He has contributed to digging the mets bigger holes in close games, and he has blown saves and games that the mets have come back to win to save his hide.
Aaron has ruined his baseball career along with ruining the 2008 mets season and is not expected to play for any team ever again due to his lack of talent.
