I love the olympics--the obscure sports, the strange foreign people, and even the "up close and personal" stuff.

The only thing I don't like are the endless swimming trial heats. Why do the show so much of that? Swimming is really a boring sport to watch. Give me fencing, even rowing. Not so much swimming.

Modern Pentathlon is the best. Fencing, pistol shooting, swimming, show jumping :!:

I'm pretty sure it's skiing, and a winter sport. There are regular shooting events in the summer games though.
