I don't think we play till 7:45.

I'm totally confused; it's on at 2 AM?

The Inquirer TV thing is good to give you an idea when stuff is on, but NBC's website is more specific...

7:30a - 9:30a

USA (242)

Men's Soccer
USA vs the Netherlands (LIVE ET/CT).

Well, that's good. No free beer, I guess, but it's a heck of a lot easier to get up at 7:30 than 5.

I think it might work better if she was there with you to make sure there's no napping between calls. Clean your apartment and tell her you think she needs to sleep over. It could work!!

Just got back from Lil' Vuture's play. Did I already miss the parade of nations? I flipped on the Olympics, and they were doing the pageantry thing.

womens sports suck. i know they're necessary, and i think title IX is a reasonably good thing, but they suck to watch.

basketball especially.
if you don't know what the wrestlers are trying to do--how certain moves and holds are supposed to work and so forth, then it might just look like too sweaty guys rolling around on a mat.

Oh. I'm replying to a Steagles post. Um. OK.

on second thought, the soccer is surprisingly watchable.

what's it say about a sport when the women are tougher than the men?

Our Women's Volleyball team is on NBC. Sadly, it's not beach volleyball.

The father in law of the US Olympic Men's Indoor Volleyball team was murdered today in Beijing. His wife was also hurt.

America beats Japan at women's volleyball, adding that to the men's and women's soccer wins.

The Pearl Harbor Revenge Tour continues.
