So, I guess that means you can't get draft picks if he walks because you "released" him?

A simple yes would have sufficed. Can you two bond in your anti-davidbelliness?

I hold no more ill will towards David Bell. He's gone and it's over.

Abe Nunez on the other hand...
I know what you're asking yourself and the answer is yes. I have a nick name for my penis. Its called the Octagon, but I also nick named my testes - my left one is James Westfall and my right one is Doctor Kenneth Noisewater.

Vic
Iguchi
Rollins
Howard
Rowand
Burrell
Dobbs/Helms
Ruiz
?

Probably I'd prefer Victorino/Rollins/Rowand/Howard/Burrell/Dobbs/Iguchi/Ruiz. But I guess that one isn't bad.

Why Rowand third and not Burrell? Batting third is overrated in terms of putting your bets hitter there since he cannot lead off an inning or bat second until the second inning AT EARLIEST. However, I put the guy with the better OBP in front of Howard and the guy with the better SLG behind him.

That makes sense. Though--and I know this isn't rational--I'd be tempted to change absolutely nothing with Pat unless and until he cools off.

If Burrell was on first and Howard hit the ball in the gap, Burrell may not score, and then Howard wouldn't get all those triples he's known for.

Well, Howard doesn't get triples anyway. He knows that they'd just walk Rowand and Burrell behind him. That is why he is single or homerun. Team player.

we laugh, but somebody brought something like that up on dnl (howard doubles, Burrell stranded at third).

sarge was working the rain delay show w/ jim jackson and he said you want somebody with some speed hitting third.

Arbuckle mentioned in the press conference that Iguchi will have an interpreter with him since he doesn't know English.

He's been here for 3 years and doesn't speak enough baseball English?

Then again, Sammy Sosa has been here for 20 years and supposedly doesn't speak English

Soriano and Guerrero don't speak it either...

Yeah, Manuel did spend time in Japan. "Duhmo Arigutto, Son!"
