Well, I heard it first-hand, from someone who is a higher-up in the dept. of rec. and used to deal with them as he handled the vet. No kind words at all for the management of the Eagles org. On the other hand, he loved the Phillies' org people. Told how petty the eagles were in trying to get an upper hand whenever there was any conflict at all with their roomates.

then of course there's all the anecdotes, such as banners "wife you go home to" blurb. With all the evidence presented, I too pretty much hold the opinion that they're buttholes.

Another (small) example: the Eagles did nothing - I mean nothing - to clean up the Vet between divisional playoff game in January 2003 and the conference championship game. With the national media coming to Philadelphia, with the Eagles first appearance in an NFCCG since 1981, they could have at least cleaned up the trash from the parking lot, etc. But there were a few stories in the DN & inquirer at the time about how trash was blowing around the parking lot, inside the stadium, etc., in the week leading up to the game, because the Eagles didn't want to do a damn thing to the place since the Phillies owned it at that time.

Might be a little thing, but the devil is in the details.

Somewhere around the time Goff tore his ACL I decided I needed to readjust my expectations for this season (not because Goff is any good, but because it registered how fucked we were), and shift from, hey maybe another Super Bowl run is on the cards to I really hope we beat the Eagles and Cowboys at least once each.
