haven't followed them at all since they signed vick, except to tune in to watch the occasional mccoy run. ive never been to huge into football anyways, but i figured the defense would be something very interesting to watch this year, so i haven't been let down.

My head says I should be rooting for the Eagles in this game, but it also tells me they're planning quite poorly.

Really looking forward to the Eagles finally firing Reid so the Giants can maybe beat the Eagles again.

I hate the coach/GM who sucks at talent evaluation.

I just want a new regime. It sucks loving a team for 30 years and then see them hijacked by a bunch of incompetent assholes.

I want everyone gone including the owner.

So, in answer to your question, no. I don't think I'll be able to root for them until the whole coaching staff and front office is purged.

I get not liking Vick, I'm not thrilled that he's the QB of the eagles, and I'm glad that this year is probably the end of the Andy Reid era, but " It sucks loving a team for 30 years and then see them hijacked by a bunch of incompetent assholes." Seems pretty crazy. I bet every NFC team, other than the giants and packers would take the past decade that our incompetent assholes have provided. Ignoring the absolute end result, the eagles under Reid have been really, really good.

The bottom line is no super bowls, and every NFC east team has enjoyed that at least once in their existence. FFS the fucking Giants have won 2 in the past fucking 5 years. Are you fucking kidding me? Jeff Lurie has been owner for almost 20 years now and when all is said and done we are no closer to a super bowl then when he bought the team. In my book that = suck.

I don't understand how Eagles "fans" could be rooting for their team to lose. There's no Andrew Luck in the draft. And if Foles can't play in the NFL, the Eagles may feel pressured to take one of the highly suspect QBs coming out of this draft. Do they really want Matt Barkley? There are several non-QBs who can help the Eagles out and the Eagles are going to have a pretty high pick as it is. It's not like they're going to win out. So take the wins you can get, and go into 2013 with some positives.

maybe they get the 1st 2nd or 3rd overall pick and trade back and get a little more back. thats even worth it to me, in exchange for rooting for them to lose. there's not many players to root for on this team right now.

also, if we absolutely must use a win up this season, i'd rather we beat washington or new york in a few weeks or something
