I'll be most annoyed if they fire Shurmur and don't fire Gettleman. Either the project, such as it is, is working well enough to deserve a third season, or you acknowledge they have failed to improve the lines on both sides of the ball and the defense has a shocking lack of talent and what talent there was on the offense was poorly utilized.

If Gettleman, who is more of the problem than Shurmur IMO, gets a chance with a 2nd head coach that would be really fucking dumb. I don't think Shurmur did anything particularly well and won't miss him if he's gone, but no one would be coaching that Giants team the past two years to any kind of success.

Also as an example of how fucking checked out on the Giants I am (a team I was until like 5 years ago regularly too nervous to eat during their games), I just had to double check if our head coach's name was spelled Shurmur or Shurmer.

I am rooting for the Giants (+4.5) tonight. If we win, I guess I am going to start daydreaming about maybe winning this stupid division with 6 or 7 wins.

When we lose, I will go back to being annoyed at how bad the fucking Jets are and the impossibility of tanking for Trevor due to that fact.
