So, since it is human nature to forgive (forget) past transgressions and get behind a winner we should stop being bitter? If there is a dog killer and ex-con as your starting QB then maybe fans in this city should show some ethics and character and take a stand in not supporting the team. Is it human nature not to show these traits? Or is our species doomed? Personally, I just don't want to root for the guy, or want him to represent the Eagles or the city of Philadelphia. And on a national level this stuff about a great comeback is pure corporate media bullshit.

Sure, I would hope that his punishment would cause some change in the guy, although I really don't really care if he tortures and kills dogs anymore at this point, he won't. Its not like he needs to kill dogs. I just think he really doesn't know why what he did was made into such a big deal.
