Got that right. That's not just dumb, it's SEC dumb.

They chanted SEC when the ACC didn't win yesterday.

It's 2016!

Every takeout/delivery/fast food place should have online ordering.

Every supermarket deli should have a kiosk so you can order and continue shopping while your food is being prepared and packaged.

Things were all twittery the other day about "phelps is the goat."

Thanks for conveying to me so clearly two completely opposite possibilities of what you are trying to say.

I hate the articles about how if X state was a nation it would be in X place in Olympics. Mainly because it takes any tenuous connection to link the athlete to the state.
Quick Google shows that GoGo is wrong with regards to the Kiwi and the Banana.

Those stickers they put on fruit are hard to get off plums. There's got to be a better way for checkers to identify what fruit you've actually bought. Something like the way they do bulk foods at Wegman's would work I think.

This is from the New York Review of Books, a publication that should know better. It's about Mitch McConnell winning his senate seat in 1984 by beating incumbent Walter Huddleston.

he won by a tiny margin—just 5,100 votes... Reagan’s overwhelming success in Kentucky surely carried him across the finish line. Reagan won the state by 283,000 votes, so 278,000 Kentuckians who voted for Reagan also voted for Huddleston, against McConnell.

There's no real story to know. What I quoted is a basic math error. Turning a 283,000 vote margin of victory into a 5,000 vote margin of victory doesn't require 278,000 people switching their vote, it requires 139,000 people switching their vote, since every switch is both one less vote for you and one more vote for your opponent.

These self service checkout kiosks and the fact that more and more places seem to now be expecting you to use them instead of actually having the employees ring you up. This is especially true at restaurants. I feel like we're one step away from being pointed to the kitchen to make the food ourselves.
How dare you interrupt my Lime Rickey!

Place by me always fresh frys their wings and puts a monster cup of sauce on side

So you can dip, toss, or extra sauce. Its pretty awesome idea
