On the negative end the only 2 people I know who owned a Liberty hated the experience. My cousin complained about dependability and fuel economy.

I had a patriot and loved it, but heard similar stories about the liberty tho.

I drove a Cherokee for a while and loved it except for the 15 mpg.

I traded it in during Obama's "Cash for Clunkers" program for a Prius and have never looked back.

Telsa has now shuttered the referral program. But I know of at least two Tesla social media advocates who will be receiving 2 (two) 2nd gen Roadsters when they're released on 2022 or so. that's like a half mil worth of incentives.

May want to hit up your local senior citizens center. Also, if you're a baller you'd retrofit an Airstream.

This video of the Rivian SUV and pickup is pure sex and I don't even like SUVs and pickups

really hope musk doesn't fuck up the y like he did the x. aka a practical SUV/crossover that i can throw some gear in and on top and not afraid to bottom out.

i'll take that truck though. it would be kinda cool to buy it on amazon and have it delivered to your door.

Edit...

And some how magically in my Google now or whatever the hell it's called I see a story about elon's new pickup.

Now this is the shit azrider wants. God bless you Elon musk.

have a feeling that the y is going to be exactly the same as the 3, replacing the trunk with a slightly raised hatch.

I want a crack at that Truck you posted above AZ. It sort of looks like another favorite (too bad the front does not open on the Tesla)

So if you are curious, that is the Swiss Piech Mark Zero. It looks like a Porsche meets Jaguar to my eye.

probably the biggest game changer is that this battery can be charged to 85% capacity in only 5 minutes. some have questioned this tho. when this type of tech trickles down, probably sooner than later, the internal combustion automobile would be obsolete.

that claim is quite amazing though. I don't know if it's the tesla fanboy in me, but i am quite dubious. If you were a battery technology company and came up with something this game-changing, who would you go after? Right, the company that sells more battery capacity than the rest of the world combined. And likewise, that company is heavily invested in researching all sorts of battery start-ups. I hope it's true, but like cold fusion, I'll believe it when I see it.

My daughter needs a cheap (like sub 10K) but reliable used car, and I haven't searched for one of those since the days of want ads (and sadly there aren't any being passed on by the family right now). Not sure where to pint her in terms of searching for one. Carsense has virtually nothing in that price range.
You don't have to call me darlin', Darlin'. But you never even call me by my name.

I used cargurus.com. It's as much of a crapshoot as the want ads. Look for one that supplies the vehicle history report thing.

I find that cars.com and autotrader.com are about equivalent.

Your ideal car - in your price range - would be one of the reliable brands (yeah, Japanese) and then screen for low(ish) mileage. Sometimes taking an older model year as a tradeoff for fewer miles is a good thing.

Autotrader also tells you when it's a "Great Price" for that car/condition.

Mileage and a clean CarFax are key issues.

I did a search for Hondas Toyotas Mazdas Mitsubishis model year 2013-2016 $6k-$10k under 75k miles. PLenty of nice cars like these:

Just get the best Honda Civic you can afford. Last summer I had better luck with Facebook Marketplace and Craigslist.
