Yes -- but on the form I mentioned there is a change of address section.

what i meant was if you had moved after you paid it off the state would've sent it to your old address.

and moz, take note- take action to get your title before it becomes a hassle....

Called the dealer today and explained the situation. They let me know that they could do a title search and expedited title transfer without the physical document for a fee of $122.50, which seemed acceptable vs. having to find a notary and go through PennDOT and wait 7-10 days or whatever (and paying $55 anyway).

So we have a new (used) car. I obviously realized this is considerably larger than the car it replaces, but I was concerned primarily with length. The 10" increase in width makes it barely fit in the garage; with both side mirrors extended it clears the sides of the garage door by less than an inch on each side. With one or both mirrors folded in there's a bit more leeway but this makes backing out a little more challenging, and it's not a power folding mirror. Also getting in and out of and around the car while it's in the garage is pretty tight. Fortunately the previous homeowners paved a large patch adjacent to the side of the garage so there's a relatively convenient place to park other than the garage, but we've gotten very used to not having to go out in the elements to get in the car. Oh well, first world problems I guess.

It's really amazingly big. The car we traded was a Mazda5, which basically is a mini-minivan. The Pacifica looks like it could have swallowed the Mazda5 whole

The Mazda 5 is really small--it was built on the old Mazda 3 platform, and I think in those days the Mazda 3 was smaller than it is now.

auto socks, heard about them a couple of years ago and thought it was some fad. they're still around, but are they really worth it? the reviews i read is like getting my new from faux news. the snow forecast could be a little unpredictable above 8,000 feet. i also live in the desert where i don't need winter tires.
