He got a Model 3? In PA? Wow. He did not have a prior model Tesla did he? Not many net-new tesla customers (or employees) are getting them yet, and as far as I knew all of them were in CA.

My kid did OK driving last night, but decided to back it on to the driveway to close it out. Managed to put it right in the middle, between the two garage doors, then said 'I'm good', shut it down, and hopped out. He's going to make to grey or bald.

The GLK is a panache choice that will be very costly once it is out of warranty.
The Forester is a wise choice. It puts you in a club of Subaru folks. Nobody is crazy, but they have some interesting habits.
I can't fault the RAV4 exccept that it's the Camry of SUVs. Reliable and not at all interesting.

A few years back, we went with the pre-owned Acura RDX and it was a good choice. Now JR is is driving it.

Finally pulled the string on the GLK. It’s a 2015, and I bought the extended warranty. I wanted to sleep in it the first week I had it. (The car, not the warranty)

First full insurance bill shows up for my 17 year old since he got his license. Insurance went up $1,100 every 6 months or $2,200 overall. How the hell does that happen? Well it's easy you making the primary driver of a 2016 Acura MDX. Oh by the way that makes me a part-time driver on that vehicle. Dumbasses

Facebook marketplace as overtaken Craigslist for us. With FBM, you can look at the buyer/seller's profile to at least determine if they are a real person or not (more or less).

Not sure what you are lookign for, but when I was in the market for a car a few years ago, I looked at the used inventory around and then looked at new Kias and we were able to get a new Kia for like maybe $1500 more than the used cars we were looking at and we got 0% financing which I considered a win. I've been really impressed with the kia optima, it's comfortable, reliable pretty much exactly what I was looking for.
