since i'll be commuting to philly a few days a week this year i should really trade my truck in for something more fuel friendly. hopefully i can do a straight up trade. i've been so lazy about looking though.

and SPEAKING OF TESLA...they rolled out an OTA software update last week. Added some sort of auto-driving called "autopilot mode" . Pretty cool videos out there. Go on and wormhole

Before that I had a Silverado that I consider one of the best looking trucks I have ever seen. It looked like a model truck but started rusting under the doors so I parted ways.

I am curious to see what those ass fuckers are going to do about my VW TDI. Still getting awesome mileage for now, just killing baby birds and giving everyone behind me cancer until "the fix." A real scam they had going. I hope they get nailed to the wall for fraud and lay out a fat stack for the premium paid for that better then green, call it blue like the ocean, bull shit.

probably need the Adblue system installed like most other diesels in the world. i think the 2016 has it installed. so they'd have to find a way to retrofit the system into the car. which would mean finding space in the back of the car for the system and then run lines to the catalytic converter. probably a programming overhaul as well. its gonna be ugly.

My 2013 Passat has the AdBlu tank in the trunk, so I just have a software fix and an increase in (expensive) services as the tank will need to be refilled with some regularity at ~$100/ fill up (that was the approximate cost they gave me at purchase time). I am morbidly curious about the new mileage as I have become use to upper 30's in traffic and 50+ on highway trips.
